How soap became a passion for Dionne
It all began with the gift of a lotion making class from a small apothecary in Seattle- a seemingly ordinary present that sparked an extraordinary passion within me.
Eager to share my newfound knowledge, I began teaching friends and family the art of crafting homemade skincare products. Seeing the satisfaction of unlocking perfect formulas pushed me to learn more and in 2022 I took the leap and started making soap.
I now host classes in our beautiful 170-year-old modernized Victorian home. What started as a hobby quickly transformed into a thriving business as more and more people sought out my expertise in the world of handcrafted soaps.

Pure Essential Oils
Essential oils are nature's aromatic treasures, offering holistic benefits that inspire wellness and harmony. Fragrance Oils are also common in soap making as they can be more stable and well behaved than essential oils.
Spices
Spices commonly used in soap making include cinnamon, turmeric, and lavender, which add natural color, fragrance, and skin-loving benefits to the soap.
Flowers
Flowers not only lend their enticing fragrance to soap making but also infuse their natural colors, adding a touch of vibrant beauty to each handcrafted bar. Flowers such as lavender, rose, and chamomile add a fragrant and soothing touch to handmade soaps.
Clay & Charcoal
Brazilian purple clay and activated charcoal are powerful natural ingredients that can be used in soap making to cleanse, detoxify, and rejuvenate the skin.
Oils & Butters
In soap making, oil and butter are more than ingredients; they infuse the bar with nourishment and moisture. These rich elements create a luxurious bathing experience that leaves the skin replenished. The oils and butters penetrate and hydrate the skin, melting away impurities. Through their infusion, soap becomes an art of science and indulgence.
Beeswax
Beeswax is a popular ingredient in soap making due to its natural moisturizing properties and ability to create a creamy, luxurious lather. It adds a subtle honey scent to the soap while also enhancing its texture and durability, making it an excellent choice for both commercial and homemade soaps..
